Why don’t they hurry?
I have been waiting for fiber optic broadband internet connection since the last year.
The day they installed the street poles near our house was when I got the first excitement of the possibility of a super fast internet the likes of which I have never known before.
For the next eight months, nothing happened due to Covid lock downs and other reasons and the poles appeared to be more like dead tree trunks. I almost gave up on them when I saw they had put wires on the poles in neighboring locality.
That flared back my hopes again. Nothing happened for the next couple months.
I gave up again and then they installed the wires in our locality and it looks so appealing. I feel like I might just pull the wire into our house and we will get the internet connection. But alas that is not how it works.
Looks like I might have to give up again so that they do some more progress.
It feels so personal to me that I am being tortured by enticement of a internet connection that may begin anytime soon. But it is nothing personal. The people responsible are working as per their routine and schedule and it has nothing to do with me.
Or does it?
