Every day as more and more cases are confirmed positive, governments all over the world are taking drastic measures to lock down their cities, states and countries.

Doctors, nurses, healthcare providers and researchers are on the frontline for one single goal: to conquer this pandemic.

We now know a lot about this virus to be able to slow down its spread and to manage it. If it does not mutate into an even higher infectious virus, then we will be able to manage it based on our current response.

Millions will be infected with it in the end and hundreds of thousands may die. The virus won’t disappear for another few months or years. But we will manage this current strain of the virus.

But just imagine if it were even more contagious, and even more lethal. That would collapse our world. We are not prepared for that and our current globalization even enables the spread of such infectious diseases.

Stay safe and take care.
