The worse isn’t even here in India

India has now crossed the 150k mark of coronavirus positive detected cases and is now in the top 10 countries with the most number of cases.

But the peak is nowhere in sight for India.

India implemented a good powerful lockdown of the whole country and it curbed the spread initially. But still the virus kept spreading.

Now the people want the country to open up, even if carefully and gradually, and this is only going to increase the spread of the disease.

With its high population density, Indians need to follow strict social distancing and use masks properly. But nothing is perfect. It will again slow down the spread but if no vaccine is discovered and deployed speedily, the virus will keep spreading and killing more lives.

All we must try to do is stand with solidarity (with social distancing) and help each other. It is a frightening future because we don’t know if we will become a number among the 98% or the 2%.
