Shri Ram Temple and smart BJP government
Today, PM Narendra Modi and other leaders did the Bhoomi Pujan of Shri Ram Temple at Ayodhya.
It was live telecast over every government-sponsored channels and, the news media had nothing else to cover.
The beautiful 3D designs of the Shri Ram Temple were circulating on social media since last week.
That was a smart move from the government. Here is why: The ardent devotees loved watching the puja live. The neutral people which consist of the majority of the population still took part in it somehow due to the ardent devotees and thus were passive admirers or observers at least. And the naysayers had nothing to say because the court judged so.
That will solidify the government’s image for quite some time as people are ecstatic by the Shri Ram Temple Bhoomi Pujan. The opposition has nothing to criticize because if they say anything, the passionate Bhakts will brand them as anti-Hindu and anti-patriotic and give general directions to Pakistan.
For the opposition, it is wise to keep quiet and observe. It will benefit immensely by learning to play the influence game of BJP.
