Reading teaches writing

I have been on a binge reading marathon lately and have finished a few books in the last month.

Each book I read teaches me something about writing.

The way the story is paced, the characters are developed, the story timeline, the dialogues, complexity in plots, writing style, etc.

This way I think that in a decade of two I will be able to write some good fiction given that I will keep reading and I have the fortune to be alive by then.

I love the learning and entertainment on the side. This is a ideal combo package.
