One Punch Man and Indian Mythology

After watching the stories in Indian mythological TV series and One Punch Man, I think it is safe to say that if someone were to write One Punch Man thousands of years ago in India today it would have been part of Indian mythology.

There would be statues of a bald deity and people would flock to worship this all-mighty God which is bored to death by his power.

Think about Saitama. He is the strongest person in the manga. He can defeat any monster in one punch. He saves everyone around him from unspeakable evils. And he takes no credit and isn’t hungry for it. He is just a hero for fun.

That’s Indian epic mythology stuff right there.

Maybe in some alternate universe, there is an India with a caped baldy deity.
