It is another ordinary day tomorrow of winter in the northern hemisphere and summer in the southern.

But we as humans have converged on the idea that tomorrow is a special day and we celebrate it as such.

In the past, people from diverse countries celebrated new years on various days significant to their respective cultures. Now, the borders between countries exist in geography.

Humans have populated the realm of the internet as if it is one country and, thus, we see more and more of the celebrations shared worldwide.

Tomorrow is one such example. When the clock hits midnight people will yell happy new year and feel joyful.

Even though it is a typical day, we collectively give it a grander meaning and, we feel a mixture of joy and anticipation to such a degree we don’t feel any other day.

Feel delighted. Appreciate that billions around the world are sharing the joy with you and marvel at the world we humans have built.

Have a happy new year!
