Missing out on the future
I often wonder what the future holds. I try to imagine what people used to think before the internet changed the world and how AI will again revolutionize everything and how we live.
Humanity will survive, hopefully, for thousands of years. And all that time is enough for some amazing discoveries and progress.
But we won’t like be able to see all that. We are mortals and after a finite time, we will die. As of this post, cures for aging and all fatal diseases have not been discovered.
It makes me sad sometimes that I will be missing out on so many amazing things. I will be joining the ranks of the billions of humans that have missed the present world we are living in right now. I realize my fortune and I turn my mind towards imagination and wonder about all the things that can be.
As far as my brain is concerned, it is all as good as reality for the time being. It is fun and I hope some good stories come out of this past time.
