Lost artifacts
Museums are packed with historical artifacts all over the world. Each one of those items was found somewhere and its value recognized.
It makes me think about how many more amazing artifacts lost in history are still waiting to be discovered. They are not going to walk themselves to some nearby museum and that is why people go after them to remote sites, ocean floors or dig probable spots to find them. It is a slow process that is undertaken by thousands around the world.
I can think of at least one parallel with human mind. We don’t know what different interests (artifacts) are hiding in our mind. They are not going to surface on their own and announce their presence. We have to painstakingly explore many arenas to find them. There will be a lot of junk along the way, but the search will be always be worth it.
