Let students explore
It would be better if the education system did not try to extort fees by forcing online lectures.
A much better way would be to let them explore different things with no negative consequences. Reading books of varied topics in one effective method of exploration.
The argument comes that: Not everyone will do it and most will waste time. Well, those forced to sit watching videos will squander time anyway daydreaming or cheating or something else. Why pay for that?
But here schools and colleges are not in the business to spread knowledge but to earn money. They need to keep that income flowing in. Can’t risk it.
