It is O.K. to get stuck in a rut now and then.
We are slaves of habits.
When we are concentrating on some habits that we desire, others, which we don’t want, might sneak upon us. It is natural and part of life. You may want to fight it, but you will only end up frustrated because you cannot change it.
Life has so many variables that we cannot take each of them into account.
You may work on the habit of waking up early to be more productive, but something unexpected happens, and your afternoon meal schedule is disturbed. That makes you find some alternate solution which might be worse than before and you before less productive as a result. So even if you are waking up early, you are less productive in the afternoon due to circumstances out of your control.
When you catch such ruts, remind yourself: It is O.K.
But it is not O.K. to stay in that rut forever. You are a person with a mission whatever that may be. You can get out of the damaging cycle.
The problem you are facing most probably has a solution out there.
No matter what happens, always keep an eye on if you are getting stuck in some habit loop that you do not desire. And when you find one, work on getting out of it.
This is where you will find growth, and it will bring you content and peace.
