Get back on track, fast
Often we catch ourselves doing things we do not want to do. Or not doing things we do want to do.
Many factors contribute for this behaviour. It’s all rooted in our psychology and motivation.
But we must check whether we are on track occasionally. And if we find ourselves derailed like a train accident, we must work to get ourselves back on track.
Our minds are not made to think about long term prospects and so we find seduced by irrelevant obscenities in the short term. But we can override our programming and trick our brain to think about long term by breaking down the long term in series of short terms.
If we want to reach some destination, we must follow the track, well-worn or novel.
