Do not think you are weak

You may be struggling with mental issues in the current country-wide lockdown. You have not ventured out at all, or only a few times for important tasks. You haven’t met any friends or relatives and staying home is making you bored. You may start to struggle with certain negative emotions that you observe have surfaced out of nowhere.

This is all normal. If this is something new, do not worry. Do not think you are weak and you cannot even handle sitting at home. Decide to bear it and go through with it. If it is bearable there is no need to go to a doctor for it. You can handle it.

Humans are made to handle a lot more stress than this. You are too.

You are strong!

Seek medical help only if the mental stress goes out of your control and you find that you are not functioning well. Find out how much you can take.

Otherwise, put yourself through controlled stress to make yourself stronger.
