Cold water baths

Start taking cold water baths. If not daily, then weekly.

Why would you do that if you have access to warm water? And warm water is much better for you right? It also feels so much better than cold water, right?

Well, bathing with cold water now and then teaches you that you don’t need the warm water to be able to take a bath. You are not, in fact, dependent on the warm water. If something happens, you can take a cold water bath, no problemo! This comes in handy when you are travelling and for whatever unfortunate reason, you don’t get warm water. I have already benefited from this multiple times.

It teaches you to stay wary of the comforts in life and only to view them as preferred indifferent. If you have them, good. If you don’t, then you can still lead a peaceful life.
