Changing fast, and slow

Most of the long term change comes from slow processes. Rivers erode mountains into valleys, humans improve medicine by researching for years, you improve your lost social credibility one day at a time.

Then there are other changes which can be unpredictable and can be triggered by anything. Like the current coronavirus pandemic. It changes human behaviour concerning washing hands in a fraction of a month. Or how one incorrect steps tarnishes our well-built reputation.

Even though some changes are unpredictable, we must be prepared for them so that they don’t harm us as much as they can with us unprepared.
